Welcome Back!
I’m not sure if I’m welcoming back you the reader, or me the writer.
2025 was the year that I undoubtably fell off the wagon with my blog writing. Blame ChatGPT, or our website rebuild, or my busy schedule, or just the fact that I felt uninspired. Whatever the reason, I went AWOL. And for anyone who enjoys this blog and still following – I’m sorry.
But I’m back, baby! And although, I’m hesitant to make grand statements about what I will deliver in 2026, I am quite comfortable to make grand statements about my intentions to deliver.
So, in that spirit, I will say that this year will bring more articles, more clinical content, more research related content, and the occasional book review.
I’m also interested in feedback from any readers. If you have any topics, questions, ideas that you’d like me to explore – send them through using the Contact tab above. I’d love to have a dialogue with you the reader.
And a big promise – I will not use AI to write my articles. I tried it. And it didn’t make me more productive, I can tell you that. AI is pretty good, but it’s not there yet for doing my thinking for me (for better or for worse). No matter how well I ask it the question, it doesn’t seem to be able to think like I do. So, you have it here – I’m the last AI-free psychology blog on the internet!
So, glad to be back. Hope some of my regular readers from a few years ago are still checking every now and then. Get in touch, let me know!
Onwards and upwards!
