Registered Psychologist

Sam Ellerton is a warm and approachable psychologist who works with youth aged 11 and up, and adults of all ages. He is experienced in working with a range of presentations and diagnoses including anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, emotional regulation difficulties, and interpersonal relationship challenges. Sam has a special interest in technology-related issues, bullying, and life transitions. Sam is worker’s compensation and CTP accredited.

Sam uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Sam values an approach that is warm and collaborative to help make meaningful progress through growing resilience and better self-awareness.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing and watching sports, spending time with friends, and being outdoors. Sam has been a lifeguard and has enjoyed playing rugby for Randwick.
